Reception refurbishment within a Grade I Listed building.
Edward Pavilion is a major multi-tenant commercial building at the heart of the Grade I Listed Albert Dock estate in Liverpool. The entrance links the city facing Salthouse Quay with the perimiter dockside pedestrian route, housing a busy café bar, circulation, and the reception area for the building.
The scheme seeks to mediate between the retained maritime fabric of the building, and the retained principal elements of circulation installed in the 1990s.
A scheme of bespoke furniture and screens, using a palette of timber, copper, and porcelain, create a refined environment complimenting the exposed brickwork vaults of the Listed building.
